  6. INTRODUCTION
  7. ============
  8. This update package updates and fixes several parts of THINK C 4.0.
  9. While it is a good idea to apply all the updates, you can apply only
  10. the ones that affect the way you work with THINK C. For instance, if
  11. you don't use the THINK Class Library, you don't need to apply the
  12. TCL updates.
  13.  
  14. Each of the updates is in its own folder. The list below describes
  15. what each update is for and who should update.

  18. WHAT'S IN THE UPDATE PACKAGE?
  19. =============================
  20. The update package is made up of six folders. Each folder contains
  21. a documentation file that tells you how to apply the update. The
  22. documentation file also describes in more detail what the update
  23. is for.

  25. THINK C 4.0.1 Update
  26. --------------------
  27. •    All THINK C users should update.
  28. This update transforms your existing THINK C 4.0 application
  29. to THINK C 4.0.1. This update adds missing MC68881 opcodes to
  30. the inline assembler, adds more choices to the "MF Attrs" menu
  31. of the Set Project Type… dialog, and fixes an incompatibility with
  32. OnCue.

  38. This document describes some errors, typos, and omissions from
  39. the THINK C 4.0 documentation.

  57. This update fixes some bugs in the example programs for the TCL.

  61. ------------
  62. •    All users who use the ANSI libraries and have not updated
  63.     already should update
  64. This update fixes bugs in scanf() and related functions in the
  65. ANSI library. This update is identical to the scanf() update of
  66. October 1989.
